Warranty
What This Warranty Covers?
- Cracking or splitting of the membrane.
- Loss of adhesion due to product failure (not installer error).
- Premature wear due to UV exposure or environmental stress.
- Leaks through or around original fixtures (vents, skylights, AC units, etc.) present at the time of installation.
- Radiant barrier integrity within the encapsulated ApexArmor system.
If a covered defect arises, ApexArmor will, at its discretion, repair or replace the affected area at no cost to the covered owner.
What’s Not Covered?
- Installation-related issues such as bubbling, fisheyes, sagging, overspray, or poor adhesion from improper surface prep.
- New fixtures or modifications (solar panels, antennas, etc.) added post-installation unless resealed by a certified installer within 6 months.
- Damage from impact, punctures, falling debris, or abuse.
- Neglect, improper maintenance, or chemical spills.
- Standing water due to improper RV leveling or drainage.
- Acts of God (hail, flood, tornado, etc. — typically covered by insurance).
Lifetime No-Leak Fixture Guarantee
ApexArmor guarantees that any roof-mounted fixture present during installation will remain sealed against leaks for the lifetime of the RV, provided fixtures are not altered or removed. If leaks occur around a sealed fixture, we will reseal it at no charge.
Transfer Policy
- This warranty is transferable one time to a new owner, provided the following conditions are met:
- The transfer is completed within 30 days of the sale.
- The new owner contacts ApexArmor - then their warranty information is logged in our system.
- A $199 transfer fee may apply.
- If properly transferred, all original warranty terms remain in effect for the new owner.
Warranty Claim Process
- Submit a claim within 30 days of discovering the issue by contacting ApexArmor.
- Provide proof of installation, photos of the affected area, and a description of the problem.
- If needed, deliver the RV to an ApexArmor Certified Installer within 30 days of filing.
- ApexArmor will inspect the claim and auth.orize a repair or replacement if it qualifies.
- Temporary patching (e.g., caulk or tarps) is required to prevent damage before service.
Maintenance Responsibilities
- Visually inspect your roof regularly for physical damage, fixture issues, or debris buildup.
- Ensure any added fixture is installed by an authorized ApexArmor installer - if fixture is added by end user, the area must be resealed by an vvauthorized ApexArmor installer immediately.
- Use non-abrasive cleaners when washing (mild soap, bleach-based cleaners permitted).
- Maintain a record of any post-installation service or fixture resealing.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the ApexArmor system.
ApexArmor is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including damage to the RV’s interior, personal property, or loss of use.
